Cabin Fever

Well, we're trying to find some things to do since it's cold and blah- it's hard playing ball in the house with the "herd". At least there's plenty of house to run in. We're definitely ready for spring.

I actually got a new job this week and I'm very excited! I'm leaving the salon I was at and heading to an Eye Clinic. No more hard, hard labor, late hours, and weekends. Looking forward to benefits-badly needed!


I must have been so excited about this new job that I cut myself for the first time doing hair! It looks bad, but it's not! Maybe it was a sign that I need to leave behind the rough-on-my-body-job and move on.

Ouch!!!


For some reason, I've had a feeling that there were going to be some changes happening...and not long after starting this blog...along came one big one I was hoping for with the job situation. Hope there's more positive changes around the corner!

Cuddle-up!

Brrrrrrrrr!

Baby, it's cold outside...

So what do we do here in Illinois during the winter? Snuggle, snuggle, snuggle!

I'm lucky I have my furry kids to cuddle with and they are more than willing! The weather here has been bone chilling, so we stay in and do what we do best!

Here's Vahallas (Vaha), taking a nap...he likes to have something on him to keep him warm in the winter. He's the biggest baby ever...even more so than the little dogs. We adopted him from a local shelter- great addition to the family!

The video below was the same month we got Vaha, Mitch was out back with him trying to have some fun in the snow... What a good boy! (Vaha that is)
